Drs. Leuschner, Huffman and Bast practice general ophthalmology. This includes general eye examinations for glasses, and medical eye evaluations and treatment of infectious eye diseases, cataracts, glaucoma, eye muscle problems, and diabetic and other forms of retinal diseases.

In the office, we perform extra-ocular surgical procedures such as correction of sagging eyelids. We also perform laser surgery for the treatment of diabetic eye disease, glaucoma and clouding of the posterior capsule after cataract surgery.

Surgical procedures are performed in the modern surgical outpatient departments at the West Michigan Surgery Center, Holland Community Hospital and Zeeland Hospital.

Our physicians provide evaluations, referrals and co-management for refractive surgery.

We fit all types of contact lenses including standard soft, disposable, gas permeable, toric for astigmatism, bifocal and multifocal lenses.

An optical department provides a complete selection of frames and accessories such as magnifying glasses, low vision aids, sunglasses, safety glasses and sports goggles.
